Not quite that exciting... It mainly means that there is now a producer attached, who will guide and help in the development process (which begins with rewrites, notes, more rewrites, rinse, repeat), and when the script is in good shape will advocate for it and take it to studios (Amazon has a first look deal with Warner Bros. I believe). It is still very exciting though. The road to production is winding and generally lonely, and it is awesome to be joined by someone who familiar with the path!
