A couple nights ago I got to see a screening of Jeff Nichols' film Mud. Sam Shepard had a small part in it. Love.
Just read this article in Elle about Julie Delpy, where she recounts showing her first writing attempt to Sam Shepard, who said "Stay pretty. Don't write."
